Our hotel laundry service is the bedrock of the Fishers business. Every day, our fleet of 86 trucks travels the length and breadth of Scotland and the North East of England collecting and delivering hotel bed linen and hotel linen laundry to ensure that our customers in the hospitality sector can offer their guests the warm welcome – and the great night’s sleep – that they deserve.
Innovations such as energy efficient laundries, a commitment to green technology and the latest radio frequency identification (RFID) laundry tagging combine to reassure our customers that we’re doing everything we can to ensure that we’re on top of our game. They know we’re working very hard to deliver laundry that’s not just spotlessly clean and immaculately ironed, but goes above and beyond their expectations.
Better Service: Delivered by friendly local management teams equipped with great tools
At Fishers, we strive to create great direct relationships between hotel linen customers and the local plants providing the service. Local management teams are empowered to make decisions and equipped to find solutions. We track service follow up throughout our business with Salesforce CRM; our state of the art RFID tracking ensures product availability; and each of our iconic delivery trucks is equipped with real-time tracking.
Fishers has more face to face account managers in the areas we serve than all of our competitors added together. Our account managers are fully trained in the services we provide to housekeepers and they’re on the road every day to ensure that their needs are being met.
We clean, iron and deliver around 2 million items every week so yes, we sometimes make mistakes. But when we do, we respond quickly and comprehensively to put things right. We’re passionate about customer service and we have the resources and operational capabilities to deliver on our promises - time after time.

Fishers’ buying power enables us to source main textile product lines direct from producing mills, ensuring ethical sourcing, high quality of stitching, fabric performance and whiteness. We have our own market leading range of luxury bedroom linen known as ZHEN which is already in more than 3000 of Scotland’s most luxury hotel rooms. The linen is discreetly fitted with the latest RFID technology which we are using to deliver incredible new efficiencies with the ability to electronically scan thousands of items in a few minutes.

Business resilience planning permeates throughout Fishers to deliver reliable service week after week, year after year.
All our plants are digitally connected through state of the art Data Centres and common operating systems. We can quickly switch processing between plants to back each other up in break-down or emergency situations. Furthermore, we only fill each plant to 2/3rds capacity to ensure local contingency is always available.
Each of our sites is regularly audited by BSI in the areas of Quality, Hygiene, Safety and Environmental matters (ISO 9000, EN 14065, OHSAS 18000 and ISO 14000)
